The event which has previously honoured Dame Shirley Bassey, Prada, Pam Hogg and has seen performances by Professor Green and Alesha Dixon never disappoints on the style stakes and has received an abundance of international media coverage.
Event founder and producer Tessa Hartmann CBE said: “The event is going from strength to strength and we’re so grateful to be working with such incredible global brands, who are helping us showcase Jersey to the world.”
There are 14 categories which will provide an unrivalled platform to celebrate the local tourist economy, lifestyle, arts, culture and style from this magnificent jewel in the British Isles. 2019 will also see a new category added to the awards that of ‘Corporate Philanthropy’. This new category will recognise a company whose charitable / philanthropic endeavours have made a lasting impression in the local community in the last 12 months. The organisers are working in partnership with the Jersey Chamber of Commerce who will assist in selecting the shortlist for this particular category, with the finalists going forward to the online public vote which opens in May.
In an effort to entice even more entries in 2019 the organisers have also partnered with Channel 103 who will support the ‘Call for Entries’ across the radio station.
“We have proved a win at these awards is a benchmark of success for the islands creatives, tastemakers, brands and businesses and each year the profile gets bigger and bigger. Essentially this is an opportunity for Jersey to punch above its weight and show the world what the island has to offer,” stated Tessa Hartmann.
Entries must be uploaded to the official website by May 3rd with the shortlist being announced on May 10th. The online public voting will be open until Friday June 7th. VIP tickets are available to attend the red-carpet gala – see official website for further details Jersey Style Awards
